Matthew D. Bowland and James A. Molnar were married Saturday, September 2, by the Rev. Margaret O. Fox at the historic Valentine Theatre in Toledo, Ohio.
Matthew D. Bowland, 39, is a business analyst in Sylvania, Ohio, for Martiz LLC and oversees a national loyalty program, which boasts more than 4 million members. He graduated from the University of Toledo Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
He is a son of David and Brenda Bowland of Genoa, Ohio. Matthew’s father, who is retired, was a Certified Public Accountant in Toledo for EY (formerly Ernst & Young). His mother is a retired teacher for Genoa Public Schools.
James A. Molnar, 30, is a web and digital media specialist in Toledo for the College of Medicine and Life Sciences at The University of Toledo. He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis., and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and French. He has put his journalism skills to the test, covering the Oscars from the Red Carpet for various media organizations.
He is a son of Paul Molnar, step-mother Jennifer M. Molnar, and mother Paula Molnar-Fels. His late mother was an accountant in Maumee, Ohio, for many years at The Andersons and then Hickory Farms. His father is a Senior On-Site Manager in Maumee, Ohio, for Hanson, a local digital agency. His step-mother is a senior copywriter at Interrupt, a local advertising agency.
